The Pakistani poomsae team won bronze in the over-30 event division at Da Nang. Through their skillful fighting, national fighters Shehbaz Ahmed, Mudassar Hussain, and Muhammad Mumtaz made it to the victory stand. Iran scored 8.182 points to win the gold medal, Vietnam scored 7.630 to win the silver, and Chinese Taipei and Pakistan scored 7.583 and 7.533 points to win the bronze, respectively.
With 7.299 points, Saudi Arabia came in fifth place, and the Indian squad came in sixth with 6.349 points. While praising the national athletes' performance, Master Seongoh Choi, the Pakistan national team's poomsae coach, stated that their fighters earned a spot on the victory stand by giving it their all against their rivals.
Additionally, he believed Pakistan will achieve some more successful outcomes in the competition. The CEO, Omar Saeed, Secretary General Murtaza Bangash, and President of the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation, Colonel (retd) Raja Wasim Ahmed, praised the medal winners for their exceptional performance and earning a medal for the country.
