WhatsApp stated on Thursday that it is redesigning and streamlining its mobile apps in addition to adding a new feature called "darker dark mode." According to the messaging app, its main focus over the years has been on enhancing its usefulness. However, as the product grows, its appearance must also change.

After examining more than 35 distinct hues, the messaging app is launching a new colour scheme. In order to lessen eye strain in low light, WhatsApp concentrated on using richer tones. To make it easier to see messages, the app's dark mode—which is a favourite choice for many users—has been made one shade darker.

On Android, WhatsApp is integrating a built-in bottom navigation bar to help users locate what they're looking for more quickly. For a while now, iOS has had a new navigation bar that allows you to easily view your calls, communities, conversations, and updates.

With regard to iOS users, WhatsApp's new attachment structure makes it simpler to exchange images and videos. Users can now transfer media, polls, documents, and more with greater clarity thanks to an expanded tray that replaces the full-screen menu.

Additionally, WhatsApp is changing to a rounded, outlined appearance for its icons. Additionally, the software updates the chats' default background.
