It should be mentioned that at the Clontarf Cricket Club, Pakistan defeated Ireland by six wickets.
The Babar Azam-led team had an outstanding series comeback after losing the opening T20I by five wickets, winning the next two T20Is with strong performances.
In pursuit of the 179-run goal in the third Twenty20 International, Pakistan was again off to a bad start as opener Saim Ayub left for the pavilion with just 14 runs scored.
But Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan responded to the occasion, combining for 139 runs that not only helped Pakistan win but also made their names immortalised in history.
The first two players to score 3,000 partnership runs were Babar and Rizwan. They also made history by becoming the first batting duo to have ten century stands at the same time. The Indian duo of KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma, who have been teammates for five centuries, are the closest to them.
Babar also smacked a career-high four sixes in an over against Benjamin White and three sixes in a row.
As the visitors chased down the mark in 17 overs, Azam Khan (18 off 6) got Pakistan over the finish line after the exits of Rizwan (56 off 38) and Babar (75 off 42).
Ireland had made a fast start to the innings, but Pakistan held them to 178/7 in the first innings.
With the ball, Pakistan's standout player was left-arm seamer Shaheen Shah Afridi, who claimed three wickets in four overs while only giving up 14 runs.
